Designer Jessica Frantzen and Feng Shui master, Aileen Soo have combined forces to create a line of accessories designed to empower, guide, and protect their wearers. Here’s what some of these design elements mean for you:

    • The Love Knot: This is the infinity symbol repeated six times. It represents everlasting love, abundance, and protection.
    • The Prosperity Coin: This is a large, circular coin containing a small square. It represents earth attracting money from the heavens.
    • Health Wu Lo: This is a symbol believed to carry the elixir of well-being and health.
    • Red: The color red represents the fire element and is thought to enhance and attract success and recognition.

  • What if I spill something on my bag?

The best way to clean your leather bag is to simply take a white warm cloth and gently wipe the
spill or stain away. If that fails, you might take it to a professional, as you won’t want to scrub or
    use products on the bag.

  • What steps is J.kieffer taking to be environmentally conscious?

Each J.kieffer bag is hand-made—hand- died, hand-cut, and hand-assembled. The leather we use solely comes from the food industry and the dye we use is predominantly vegetable. We cut our bags to avoid excess waste—any materials we do have left over go to a foundation that uses them to teach and creates jobs.

Our packaging and shipping boxes are made from recycled carton, and our handmade boxes are sturdy, stylish, and reusable for storage. The dust bags are handmade with 100 percent cotton and include no dyes. Most materials for both bags and packaging are locally sourced.

Plus, a portion of all proceeds go to an organization that helps fight fashion industry malpractices.

  • Where did the name J.kieffer come from?

The name of the brand was inspired by head designer and founder, Jessica Frantzen’s grandfather, Jean Pierre Kieffer. He has been a hero and inspiration to Frantzen her whole life, and so in creating this brand, she wanted to pay homage to him.

  • Where do you ship?

Our products are created with love in Colombia and shipped to select countries in Latin America
    and to the United States.

  • Why are the bags made of leather and not faux-leather?

Many people don’t know that faux leather is oftentimes as bad or even worse for the environment than actual leather. This is because much faux leather is made in countries where human rights for these workers are poor and often nonexistent. There are no regulations on water cleanliness, chemical disposal, and these faux leather products wind up having a much larger ecological footprint than you might think!

The leather we use in our products is all sourced from the food industry, which greatly minimizes the impact on our beautiful planet.
